Our Next Event
KENTS HILL PARK SCHOOL SECONDARY – MILTON KEYNES
WEDNESDAY 15th January 2025 09.00AM – 11.30AM
YEAR 9 SPEED INTERVIEWING EVENT
Kents Hill Park Primary School welcome you to come in and join them in supporting their Year 9 students with this fun but vital event of speed interviewing. The students will move from one business volunteer to another business volunteer and spend 5/8 minutes interviewing YOU!! Yes, they will be asking you questions about your job, how you got to where you are, the highs and lows of your job! This will give the students an insight into how many different job roles are out there in the world of work. Its quick fun fast paced but the students learn so much from these events. If you can do either session or both that will be super. There will be Danishes Tea and Coffee served throughout the morning.
HAZELEY ACADEMY – MILTON KEYNES
WEDNESDAY 15th JANUARY 2025 09.00 AM – 12.30 PM
YEAR 12 – 6TH FORM – EMPLOYERBILITY EVENT
Hazeley Academy would really welcome you to come in and join them in supporting their Year 12 students with their mock interview session. We are holding this event to support the year 12’s before they start commencing job/apprenticeship/university interviews and to give them advice and support on how they prepare and conduct themselves at interview. You will work with a group of 4-6 students where they will still have 1-1 interview with
you whilst the others observe and then they will swap round so they all have a turn at being interviewed. A generic job spec will be given to you beforehand to help give structure to the interview and I also have a list on typical interview questions that can also be used. We would very much welcome all your input with the interviews and for you to share your experiences and any odd questions that may have been asked of you at any interview you attended. We will also welcome support with the delivery of some CV sessions for the students. This can be either with yourself delivering a 20 minute presentation on CV’s to a classroom of students or/and supporting students on a 1-1 basis whilst they structure their own CV’s. And finally we will also require some support with the delivery of LinkedIn presentation sessions. This can yet again be a 20 minute presentation and/or supporting students whilst they start to put their own LinkedIn profiles together. We will of course provide plenty of refreshments including tea, coffee, danishes ,savouries and cakes.
